Completed in 2012, the EcoBin evolved out of an intense desire to clean up a popular area of Skidmore College's North Woods, "the Bench", that would often become littered with trash.  Made of cold rolled steel, stainless steel and copper, and with each of the four sides describing a different season, the trash can has endured three long New York winters with ease and will continue to serve the Skidmore community as an emblem of its devotion to land conservation and environmental consciousness.
