Metochi is a collective installation piece in the Santa Monica Mountains.  The installation consists of a series of 22 shrines, located in power places throughout this mountain range.  Each shrine is dedicated to a god, deity, animal, or being from the world cultures.  The work honors individual divinity, while collectively honoring all expressions of the divine as from the same source.  To highlight this source, the shrines are all formed of native wood, stone and earth, with my bespoke woven forms, to emphasize the truth that the Earth herself forms the base from which all faiths emerge.  Metochi is a living public work that continues to grow everyday.
